| I'm looking for a wireless remote that gives me the option to press and "hold" the shutter button for continuous shooting and bulb-lock. Most IR remotes I've tried do not seem to let me do that and I don't want to use the phone or wired remotes. Thanks!

| Yeah I could do with something for bulb exposures, the phone app sometimes takes a couple of attempts to connect

| It didn't work, at least not in the way that seemed obvious. I put the camera into continuous hi-speed shutter mode. That worked fine when pressing the camera shutter release, but I couldn't get the remote to do more than a single shot per press.

The Sony remote app works great with the A7R3 though. It connects to the camera instantly and has a shutter lock button.

Yes. It works just like you described. You need turn on the remote from the camera main menu. Your link is the one I have.

| I've got a SMDV RFN-4 (RF-913) wireless remote on the way due to the same issue with my current IR remote. It should also work great with the half shutter focus and not be limited to IR. Hmmm...I have that same remote and I can only get it to work when its included receiver is connected to the camera. (I'd love to be able to use it without that annoying dongle)
